THERE MUST BE A BETTER WAY!!
After years of dealing with the odor, mess, cost and inconvenience of traditional cat litter systems, this was the thought that lead to the invention of the Cat-illac Cat Toilet™ over 30 years ago.
Having secured the patent to the first, dual-layered cat litter box system, the inventor of this innovative product hired an expert design team to bring the concept to life. Dozens of preliminary drawings were created in an attempt to balance elegance in design with functionality of the product. The winning concept was then translated via CAD/CAM technology into engineering blueprints that could be used to build the huge injection and blow molds needed for final production.
In the early days, traditional department stores and specialty pet stores refused to carry the product line. After all, these retailers wanted to protect their long term profits by continuing to sell litter products that required constant replenishment and maintenance. Why would they want to carry a product that used PERMANENT litter granules? Thus, the only large retailer to carry Cat-illac was Sears Canada and Sears USA- but only via their catalogue operations. During this time, the Cat-lilac Cat Toilet was the fastest selling pet product line in the Sears' catalogues and thousands of satisfied customers bought the products through this channel. Since then, as we all know, Sears shut down its catalogues. More recently, Sears Canada declared bankruptcy. Yet there is still a strong demand for a clean, easy and low cost solution to dealing with the one, unpleasant part of owning a cat - dealing with their waste. Fortunately, new, efficient, e-commerce distribution channels have been created and the Cat-lilac system can be purchased easily via Amazon® and e-Bay®.
Cat-illac is even more relevant today than it was 30 years ago for two reasons. First, more and more people care about the environment and throwing cat waste into our landfill sites or flushing it down our toilets is doing great harm to our planet. The Cat-illac system avoids this problem. Second, since the launch of the Cat-illac product, Nestle Purina® decided to launch a similar product line called the Breeze Tidy Cats®1 system. This system uses its own version of permanent granules. However, rather than relying on an economical holding tank to contain the liquid waste, the Tidy Cats® system uses messy and expensive litter pads. Astute owners of the Breeze® system realize that they can use their Breeze® pellets in the Cat-illac system and save significant amounts of money every year.
So whether you are frustrated cat owner looking for a better way to deal with your cat’s business or an owner of the Tidy Cats Breeze® system looking to avoid the high cost and mess of frequently replacing mandatory litter pads, Cat-lilac is the solution you are looking for. We hope you join the thousands of other satisfied customers from across the world who are reducing odours, dust and tracking plus saving time and money with the solution that has proven itself for over 30 years - the Cat-illac Cat Toilet!
